Milieu einer Kindheit: Kindheit, Aetheraufsatz und Revolution

Not Without my Violin!
No chatter of music,
And luckily my fiddle
Is seldom heard
And so it has lost nothing

Albert Einstein writes this poem about his violin playing as an adult. Evidently he does not regard himself as a major artist. But he loves his violin and takes it with him on all his trips throughout his life. Albert starts playing violin at elementary school. He first learns from teachers and later teaches himself Mozart sonatas. He enjoys this even while his playing is not perfect. Albert Einstein is almost perfect as a scientist - surely that's enough!
